This tune was a follow up to Rupert Holmes' very successful single "Escape (the Pina Colada song)" off the 'Partners in Crime' record. While it only reached #6 in the top 100 in Mar.'80, I thought it was a finely crafted tune & always wanted to cover it!! Apparently, RH wanted it as the 1st single off the album, but execs at MCA felt differently. An ever so slight change in "feel" but pretty much the same. Hope you like & thanks for listening!!
